Betsy Kinsley brings extensive experience in government, nonprofits and higher education to the Coastal Community Foundation through her role as Vice President of Development & Stewardship. She previously worked as chief of staff to two California State University presidents, as well as San Diego City Council President, and joined our team from Lake Tahoe, where she led the Incline Village Community Hospital Foundation. In her role as Vice President, Betsy leads the Foundation’s efforts to help individuals, corporations and nonprofits reach their charitable goals by engaging them with the community. Betsy holds a B.A. from the University of Richmond, earned her J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law and is a California licensed attorney. She resides on James Island with her husband and two children.
